USCIS Fee Schedule

Introduction

The table below presents the fees, currently in effect, for all U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) forms.
Each application, petition, or request must be accompanied by the correct fee(s) unless you are exempt from paying the fee(s) or are eligible for a fee waiver. If the fee is incorrect, the application, petition, or request will be rejected.

Filing Online

You may file certain forms online as indicated in the table below. If you file your form online (see here), the system will guide you through the process of paying your fees with a credit, debit, or pre-paid card. Bank account withdrawals are also available when paying online.

💰 There is often a $50 discount when filing a form online.

Filing by Mail

If you are filing your application, petition, or request by mail, please visit our website for filing guidance.

Payment Methods:

  1. Check or Money Order
  • Must be drawn on a U.S. financial institution and payable in U.S. funds.
  • Make checks payable to "U.S. Department of Homeland Security" (do not use "USDHS" or "DHS").
  • Use a separate check/money order for each application or petition.
  1. Credit Card Payments
  • Use Form G-1450, Authorization for Credit Card Transactions, for credit card payments.

Filing at a USCIS Office

When filing at a USCIS office, cash, cashier’s check, or money orders cannot be used for filing fees. The only payment options accepted at a USCIS office are:

  • Pay.gov (via credit card, debit card, or personal check).

Fee Waivers

Some filers may qualify for a fee waiver for certain forms.

  • Use Form I-912 (Request for Fee Waiver) to determine if you qualify.
  • Most applications do not allow fee waiver requests when filing online.

Fee Exemptions

Fee-exempt forms and categories are marked as $0 in the fee schedule.

  • No formal request is needed for a fee exemption.
  • However, fee exemptions do not guarantee eligibility to file certain requests.
