Student Role:
The Student is working as a software development engineer with the company. He is designing, developing, and testing software for our website-server systems. Writing programs that handle data transferred from web client to server and improving the server's performance. He also writes tests and scripts to make sure the server is stable and robust.
The Student definitely uses the knowledge he learned from his Computer Science degree to implement the software programs mentioned above.
Goals and Objectives:
The Student is gaining hands-on experience developing programs for website-server products. He will sharpen his knowledge in domains like web development, server programming, etc. The work-based learning expands on his academic experience in his Computer Science STEM degree.
Employer Oversight:
The Atomeocean Tech Department follows Agile methods with regular sprints, team sync-up meetings, design requirements, and specifications, and product development in website-server systems. The Student meets with the team members who have more experience in the company frequently to discuss his work and progress and will be guided to grow his strengths and improve the areas where growth is needed.
Measures and Assessments:
Atomeocean uses Milestones set for the team and individuals to measure and see accomplishments and progress towards them.
Team meetings discuss the team milestones and progress towards them, and 1:1s discuss individual progress. There are quarterly reviews of progress, and annual views of performance related to accomplishment and progress on milestones.

The Student meets frequently with experienced business analysts and senior management to review progress, discuss insights, and refine strategies. Measures and Assessments:
The company utilizes key performance indicators such as project milestones, quality of market research deliverables, and accuracy of financial analyses to assess progress. He/she is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing animated sequences, dynamic visual elements, video graphics, and special effects for our multimedia productions. The Student creates detailed storyboards, produces motion graphics, and integrates interactive visual experiences for web applications using industry-standard software. Additionally, he/she collaborates closely with creative directors, technical teams, and software developers to ensure that all visual elements are both artistically compelling and technically robust.
The Student leverages the principles of visual storytelling, digital animation, and interactive media—acquired through his/her studies in Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics, and Special Effects—to transform creative concepts into engaging digital content.
Goals and Objectives:
The Student is gaining hands-on experience in producing sophisticated animations, interactive graphics, and special effects for various digital platforms. He/she will enhance expertise in advanced animation techniques, visual effects creation, and interactive media design, including proficiency in relevant software and tools such as Adobe After Effects, Autodesk Maya, Unreal Engine, Unity, and Blender, to create high-quality animation and visual effects.
In addition to creating animation sequences, the Student designs and implements real-time interactive visual experiences, integrating dynamic visual elements and responsive UI interactions within digital applications. The Student contributes to interactive digital walkthroughs, where users can navigate digital environments, interact with spatial elements, and experience engaging, interactive media.
Employer Oversight:
The Creative Media Department follows an iterative and collaborative production process that includes storyboarding sessions, design sprints, peer reviews, and technical evaluations. The Student works closely with experienced animators, visual effects artists, and creative directors who provide regular, detailed feedback through design critiques and one-on-one mentoring.
