填写前准备阶段

首先从移民局官方下载最新版本的I-983表格

I-983需要员工和雇主双方协同填写,以下是填写流程的详细说明。

确定Atomeocean Staff的学生信息

  • 名字
  • 性别
  • 毕业学校
  • 所学专业 (最好有专业代码和对应岗位的描述)

Section 填写流程

签字放在最后执行

pdf文件在软件上签字后就无法编辑,协作填写过程中请将签字放在最后一步 或打印出来签字

Section 1 Student Information

这个Section由学生提供基本信息

  • 姓名
  • 邮箱
  • 学校名
  • sevis号码
  • 毕业学位和时间
  • ead号码
  • Stem ead卡申请时间段

名字填写

注意姓在前面,名在后面,不要写反了。

完成后进入Section 2

Section 2 Student Certification

这一段只需要填写学生的printed name和日期,然后由学生自行签字,需要注意学校会要求Sign in ink,所以需要打印出来签字更保险。

The Student is working as a software development engineer with the company. They are designing, developing, and testing 
software for our website-server systems. Writing programs that handle data transferred from web client to server and 
improving the server's performance. They also writes tests and scripts to make sure the server is stable and robust.

The Student definitely uses the knowledge he learned from their Computer Science degree to implement the software 
programs mentioned above.

Goals and Objectives:

Describe how the assignment(s) with the employer will help the student achieve their or her specific objectives for work-based learning related to their or her STEM degree. The description must both specify the student's goals regarding specific knowledge, skills, or techniques as well as the means by which they will be achieved.

The Student is gaining hands-on experience developing programs for website-server products. They will sharpen their knowledge in domains like web development, server programming, etc. The work-based learning expands on their academic 
experience in their Computer Science STEM degree.

Employer Oversight:

Explain how the employer provides oversight and supervision of individuals filling positions such as that being filled by the named F-1 student. If the employer has a training program or related policy in place that controls such oversight and supervision, please describe.

The Atomeocean Tech Department follows Agile methods with regular sprints, team sync-up meetings, design requirements, and specifications, and product development in website-server systems. The Student meets with the team members who have more experience in the company frequently to discuss their work and progress and will be guided to grow their 
strengths and improve the areas where growth is needed.

Measures and Assessments:

Explain how the employer measures and confirms whether individuals filling positions such as that being filled by the named F-1 student are acquiring new knowledge and skills. If the employer has a training program or related policy in place that controls such measures and assessments, please describe.

Atomeocean uses Milestones set for the team and individuals to measure and see accomplishments and progress towards them. Team meetings discuss the team milestones and progress towards them, and 1:1s discuss individual progress. There are quarterly reviews of progress, and annual views of performance related to accomplishment and progress on milestones.

Evaluation On Student Progress

需要在学生入职半年后根据表现进行填写

为确保按时完成报告提交,学生可选择提前填写中期(12-month)和末期(24-month)的self-evaluation。需特别注意,评估日期范围(Range of Evaluation Dates)部分应严格按照EAD卡上标注的开始日期后的12个月和24个月填写,而非填写当天的日期,以确保评估的准确性和对规定报告要求的严格遵守。

提交学校申请表

绝大多数学校在提交I-983表格时会要求同时提交学校的申请表,具体要求请参考学校的要求。需要注意的是在填写学校申请表格时需要和I-983表格信息完全一致。例如公司名称必须同时为atomeocean,否则会影响申请的进度。

The regulations for the 24-month extension require that students have an employer/employee atomeocean relationship and be earning the same wage as a similar US worker. There is no specific amount mentioned.

Please speak with the atomeocean companies lawyers if the compensation should be included and the h1b fees.
